  • Admission Requirements

    • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
    • An undergraduate cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher, OR completion of at least nine semester hours at the graduate level from an accredited institution of higher education with an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher, OR score in the 50th percentile or above on each section of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE).
    • Official transcripts from every post-secondary institution attended.
    • A teaching certificate/license. Ohio Dominican University accepts provisional or professional licenses. We do not accept substitute licenses. 
    • Be currently teaching or substitute teaching.
    • Application essay of 500 words describing the attitudes and beliefs a teacher should possess to be an effective educator in the 21st century.
    • Acknowledgment statement.
    • A graduate application form with $25.00 non-refundable application fee.
