Application Information
All students going abroad, whether for programs during spring break, May term, summer term, one semester, one academic year, or for internships, must apply and be accepted by the International Office.
To determine which application and related documents you need to submit, please see below.

Deadlines for submitting your application packet to the International Office, Student Center 278, are:
- April 1 for fall semester programs
- October 8 for spring semester programs including programs over spring break
- November 26 for May Term programs
Applying for Sponsored and Co-Sponsored Programs
For ODU Students:
If applying for a co-sponsored program, you must complete an ODU application first and then complete the co-sponsored program application. Upon acceptance by the International Office, you may apply to the co-sponsored program. Once you have been accepted by the program, please submit a copy of the acceptance to the International Office. Deadlines and prerequisites for study abroad programs are listed in the individual program descriptions on the provider's websites.
For Non - ODU Students
Thank you for your interest in ODU's study abroad programs! Please meet with your academic adviser. He/she can help you on your credit transfer and requirements. You can either download an application from this page or you can request an application packet by mail from the International Office (Ohio Dominican University, 1216 Sunbury RD, Columbus OH 43219). Non-ODU students eligible to apply to an ODU study abroad program must also submit an official transcript from their home institution. Please note: we will not review your application unless all documents have been received.
