Study abroad with an ODU faculty member for one to two weeks during the semester or May Term! These programs are a great option for students with little international travel or for students who are unable to be away for a longer time. Each year, ODU faculty travel to new destinations and study a variety of topics. Usually, these courses do not require any pre-request course work and are appropriate for any major.
For May Term Study Abroad programs, students will earn three credits split between the prep course at ODU and the in-country course during the May Term. Students will take two credits during the second half of the spring semester and one credit in-country. Students would be responsible for any tuition overage during the spring semester, the May Term tuition cost and the program fee.
For programs during the semester, the credits will be awarded all in the same term.
