EDUCATION Abroad Opportunities

The Poverty and Development Seminar is taught in Guatemala every other May term for two weeks. Students study the root causes of poverty in a Central American context and examine grassroots programs that address the structural and systemic causes of poverty. They have the opportunity to live with Guatemalan families in the countryside for two to three days during the course.
