    Ohio Dominican University is open and operating under normal conditions.

    Ohio Dominican University is committed to enhancing the safety of every member of our campus community. Toward that end , it is the policy of the University to routinely test its Emergency Notification System once each semester.  

    This semester’s routine test will occur on Friday, October 24 at 3  p.m. 

    An Emergency Test message will be  sent to all  outdoor speakers, registered phone numbers, e-mail addresses and text-message accounts. 

    • Students - If you are not sure that your phone number is current, please check with the Registrar’s Office in Erskine Hall 145 or registrar@ohiodominican.edu.
    • Faculty and Staff - You may confirm your information with the Human Resources Department, Erskine Hall 136, or hr@ohiodominican.edu  

    We encourage all members of the community to opt in for Text Messages by texting the word “ALERT” to 22300. You will not receive a text message unless you opt in. 

    The sample message you will see: 

    This is a routine test of the YOUR EMERGENCY ALERT System. If this had been an actual emergency you would have been informed about the nature and location of the event along with instructions intended to reduce your risk.
