ODU's Project JumpStart College Credit Plus program is a success because of the outstanding instructors and support from high schools in Central Ohio.

Instructors

Instructors of Project JumpStart College Credit Plus courses must maintain the standards, methods and subject matter agreed upon with the Ohio Dominican faculty representative. 

In addition, instructors must keep ODU's representative informed about the course's progress, submit forms when required and attend course meetings. 

High school teachers who are interested in offering an Ohio Dominican course at their participating high school must first read the Policy & Procedure Handbook and then submit the completed teacher application.

  • Application Process for Instructors
    To become an instructor in the Project JumpStart College Credit Plus Program, you must submit the following materials to Ohio Dominican.
    • Teacher Application Form. Includes personal information, educational background and teaching experience. A resume is required.
    • Official transcript(s). Copies will suffice for the review.
    • Copy of teaching certificate.
    • Letter of Recommendation from the high school principal.
    Once the Program Coordinator has reviewed your application materials, the packet is sent to the appropriate Ohio Dominican University departmental coordinator.

    Based on the academic qualifications of the applicant and the materials submitted, the Faculty coordinator will determine the applicant’s eligibility and the candidate will be contacted.

Interested in offering college courses at your high school? Simply fill out the application below and send in with the required materials and we will be in touch with you to discuss the program.

  • Application for High Schools
    Complete the application below and send with a formal, written request for admission of your institution into ODU's Project JumpStart College Credit Plus program.

    The following information should be included:
    • Course/s requesting to be taught
    • Approximate class size for course/s
    • Instructor names and credentials that will be teaching the courses
    • Academic calendar with significant dates
    • Relevant information about your school
