    President's Society

    ODU's President’s Society recognizes students who combine academic success, leadership, service, and dedication to the ODU community. In recognition of their ongoing commitment to these qualities and endeavors, members of the President's Society are designated to represent the Office of the President and ODU in service at major university functions. Read more. 

    Peer Advisors

    Peer Advisors (PAs) are upper-class students provide guidance and support to first-year students transitioning from high school or other colleges. Read more

    Aspire is a co-curricular program at ODU that offers motivated students a unique opportunity to participate in distinctive experiences in service, vocation, leadership, culture and faith.     Student Ambassadors

    ODU Student Ambassadors are campus leaders and their job is among the most important on campus. By leading campus tours for prospective students and parents, Student Ambassadors directly impact and shape the future of the university. Read more.

    The Leadership Challenge

    Whether you've had leadership experience in the past or are looking to take on a leadership role, this is the program for you. Sessions will feature The Five Practices of Exemplary Student Leadership by James M. Kouzes and Barry Z. Posner, Ph.D.:

    Leader Within

    The Leader Within is the first of our leadership series. You will learn more about the unique qualities that make you who you are; how you can use these qualities to achieve your goals and dreams; and how they shape the leader within you.

    Leading With Oomph 

    Leading With Oomph is the second of our leadership series. You will learn more about your own leadership style; how you can use your leadership qualities to positively impact your student organization, team, or group; how to motivate others; and how to be prepared for and deal with change within a group.

    The Annual Etiquette Dinner

    The Etiquette Dinner is a perfect opportunity to learn the do's and don'ts of dining etiquette. During this interactive program, you will be encouraged to ask questions and practice dining techniques appropriate for both formal and casual dining.
