Welcome New Panthers! ODU is a vibrant community with hundrends of activities going on during the fall semester. We want you to get to know ODU and the greater campus community - take advantage of resources - and build relationships with ODU students, faculty and staff!
With so many great activities on campus it might be difficult to decide what to do. As a first year student we want you to Be Successful, Be Well, and Be Involved - so we created ODUWOW - Weeks of Orientation and Welcome! We're rolling out the RED CARPET and putting together a great combination of student, staff and faculty-led activities!
The competition
Actively Participate in 9 ODUWOW Programs, 3 in each category, during the first 5 weeks of Fall Semester - in the following 3 categories
- Be Successful
- Be Well
- Be Involved
What’s My Incentive?
- Meet new friends, professors, staff and administrators
- Learn about resources and involvement opportunities at ODU
- Have fun at social, service, and community activities
- Got Pride? Gain a true understanding of Panther Pride!!
Party!! wowapalooza
Celebrate completing ODUWOW and the first month of college!
Where: The Griffin Student Center
When: 7:30-8:30pm
Why: Free FOOD and PRIZES!
All Students that complete ODUWOW by attending 9 events, 3 in each category will EARN A FREE T-SHIRT! Tie-Dye the
t-shirt at WOWAPALOOZA and wear it during Homecoming week to show your PANTHER PRIDE!
All Students that complete the program will be entered in a drawing to win these GRAND PRIZES:
- iPad or Free Spring Semester books (up to $500)
- Dinner for you and 3 friends—restaurant of your choice **max $25 per person
- Nook
THE TOP 2 PA GROUPS with the highest level of participation will win a PIZZA PARTY!!
ODUWOW programs are open to ALL students; however, only new freshman are eligible to win prizes.
