Ohio Dominican's Project JumpStart is an innovative Dual Enrollment program designed for highly motivated high school students who are passionate about learning and excited by the challenges of college-level work. This program provides students with an opportunity to earn college credit by commissioning qualified high school teachers to deliver an Ohio Dominican University course at the high school.
In addition to earning Ohio Dominican undergraduate credits, students can participate in special on-campus events and have use of the ODU campus facilities and resources. Through the Project JumpStart program, ODU seeks to provide opportunities for highly qualified students while also exploring the differences that often exist in academic learning environments between the high school and college.
Ohio Dominican University’s Project JumpStart Dual Enrollment program has been awarded national accreditation by the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP). NACEP accreditation is only awarded to those institutions who demonstrate compliance with quality initiatives, program development, national standards and communication within the dual enrollment program. ODU is the only university in the state of Ohio to be awarded NACEP accreditation.
