The Office of Multicultural Affairs sponsors a series of events to celebrate the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

9:00-11:00am ~ Community service project at the YWCA Family Center
12:00pm ~ Dr. Martin Luther King Speech Video Presentation (Hamilton Hall)
12:00-3:00pm ~ MKL Celebration @ the King Arts Complex
7:00pm ~ A Long Walk Home Movie presentation and discussion (Panther Plaza)
A Night in Ireland w/ the ODU Chorus
Wehrle Hall Art Gallery
The ODU Chorus and other members of the ODU community will be presenting a Feis of Irish Music, Letters, and Dance in the Wehrle Art Gallery, November 29 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will include choral and solo works by Irish composers, readings from Irish literature, Irish dance music, AND Irish dancers.
Rock The Globe AIDS Benefit Concert
Matesich Theatre ~ Erskine Hall
The Ohio Dominican Social Justice Club are sponsoring an HIV/AIDS awareness event series. The first event of this series is Rock The Globe At ODU! This event will take place on Sunday, November 11th, 2007, 7:30PM, at Ohio Dominican University Matesich Theatre. The event will feature Celtic Pop-Rock Band Ceili Rain and Father Donald H. Dunson, Ph.D., author of No Room At The Table: Earth's Most Vulnerable Children. The event is free and open to the public but donations will be accepted and benefit the HIV/AIDS relief work of Catholic Relief Services and the St. Kizito Project.
