Master of Education Hosts Open House
May 30, 2003
Ohio Dominican University will host an Open House for its new Master of Education degree program, on Tuesday, June 17 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room of Alumni Hall.
Alumni Hall is located on Ohio Dominican's main campus at 1216 Sunbury Road. Parking is available in the main visitors lot west of Sunbury Road, next to Alumni Hall.
The Open House will provide information on Ohio Dominican's M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction degree program, designed for practicing, certified or licensed teachers. To accommodate teachers' work schedules, the program is structured around evening classes in the Fall and Spring, with two five-week Summer sessions.
The M.Ed program is designed to prepare practicing teachers with advanced knowledge of skills in content and pedagogy, by establishing a culture for learning, and research experiences intended to encompass the application of theory to practice for a myriad of learners.
Throughout its 92-year history, Ohio Dominican has sponsored and supported quality education in the Dominican tradition of contemplating truth and sharing in the fruits of that contemplation. The University has been widely recognized for the quality of its educational curriculum, and for the many graduates who have gone on to be successful and influential teachers in schools and communities nationwide.
