Ohio Dominican Rings in the Holiday Season
November 18, 2004
Due to the inclement weather, the Tree Lighting Ceremony has been rescheduled
for Wednesday, December 1 at 6:00pm.
COLUMBUS, OH - Ohio Dominican University will ring in the new season with their
annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 30, 2004.
This event is an enchanting evening of lights, songs, and expressions of holiday
cheer. With the assistance of young children ringing bells to magically turn on the
lights, the procession will set the campus aglow with the brightness and joy of the
holiday season. Over 75,000 lights decorate the campus.
The celebration begins in the Colonial Room of Sansbury Hall* at 6:00 pm. This
event is free and open to the public with no RSVP necessary. Refreshments will be
available in Hamilton Hall following the Lighting.
*Sansbury Hall is the three-story brick building that is shaped like a C,
immediately north of Erskine Hall, the building with the bell tower.
