ODU Awards Record Number of Scholarships
March 3, 2005
The University predicts that even more scholarships will be
awarded for 2005-2006.
COLUMBUS, OHIO - Ohio Dominican University has awarded a record
number of scholarships for the 2004-2005 school year. The university
attributes the increase in part to the record number of students who
are currently enrolled at ODU, and to successful fundraising efforts.
Ohio Dominican awarded more than $5.1 million in scholarships for
the Fall 2004 and Spring 2005 semesters, with more than 91 percent of
ODU students receiving some type of financial aid. Current high school
students, who are interested in seeing how much of a scholarship they
could qualify for at ODU, can find out by logging on.
In addition, prospective students and their parents are invited to
attend ODU's upcoming open house on Friday, April 1, 2005 from 9:30 a.m.
to 1:00 p.m. on the University's Main Campus, 1216 Sunbury Road. The day
will include tours of the campus; an overview of the admissions and
financial aid process; information on scholarship opportunities; ODU
faculty presentations; and lunch with ODU faculty, staff and students.
Registration begins at 9:00 a.m.
The event is an excellent opportunity for all students to come and

about ODU's academic offerings. Prospective students and their parents

first-hand from current students. The event is open to the public,
