Ohio Dominican University Appoints Ellwood as Director of Residence Life

COLUMBUS, OH – Ohio Dominican University has appointed Joanna Ellwood as the Director of Residence Life. 

“Joanna’s commitment to a strong community and a residence life program that supports the educational mission of the university has been an integral component of our Student Development program,” said Drew Klein, Vice President for Student Development.  

Ellwood joined the Ohio Dominican staff as assistant director of residence life in 2005 and has been serving as interim director and an academic advisor since September 2006.    

She is a graduate of The University of Toledo, where she received a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and master’s degree in Higher Education Administration. Prior to coming to Ohio Dominican University, Joanna was the assistant director of Residence Life and coordinator of Judicial Affairs at Rollins College, associate director of Judicial Affairs at the University of Tennessee and an academic advisor at Manatee Community College.
