Nationally Recognized Pro-Life Leader Speaks to ODU Community

Frank PavoneCOLUMBUS, OH – Ohio Dominican University will host pro-life leader Father Frank Pavone, MEV at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 6 in the Listening-Viewing Center (LVC) of Spangler Learning Center on the University’s main campus, 1216 Sunbury Road. Fr. Pavone will speak on a variety of issues concerning pro-life.  The event is free and open to the public.

Fr. Pavone will focus on topics ranging from the Church’s position on stem-cell research to the latest developments in the pro-life movement today.

He is one of the most prominent pro-life leaders in the nation. He was born in Port Chester , New York and has been active in the pro-life movement since 1976.  He was ordained to the priesthood in 1988 by Cardinal O’Conner. In 1993, with the permission of the Cardinal, Fr. Pavone became National Director of Priests for Life.  In this role, he has traveled to all of the 50 states and to five continents, preaching and teaching against abortion and helping other priests to do the same.  He has appeared on national programs such as Larry King Live, Good Morning America, and The O’Reilly Factor.
