The Life Science/Earth Science Licensure Program is a professional teaching major
centered on biology and earth science. Students in this program complete a
rigorous curriculum in the fields of biology and earth science that emphasizes
not only content knowledge but also critical thinking and laboratory skills.
Upon completion, teachers holding this dual field degree will be competent,
effective teachers in biology and earth science for grades 7-12.
