The Physical Science Licensure Program is a professional teaching major centered on
chemistry and physics. Students in this program complete a rigorous curriculum in the
sciences of chemistry and physics that emphasizes not only content knowledge but also
critical thinking and laboratory skills. Upon completion, teachers holding this
dual-field degree will be competent, effective teachers in chemistry and physics for
grades 7-12.
