Division of Business
Master of Business Administration Program
For high-achieving students who know what they want from their university experience, Ohio Dominican University offers an opportunity to complete both a bachelor's and an MBA in five academic years .
Ohio Dominican's 4 + 1 MBA program (link to catalog) is a campus-based, traditional program for students who welcome being challenged. Qualifying students will develop and integrate their knowledge and understanding of contemporary thinking in management and leadership while strengthening their level of functional business knowledge.
Graduates of an accredited MBA program will be able to differentiate themselves from other future job applicants. They will be familiar with the latest thinking in ethical management and leadership while developing teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving, communication and leadership skills. The Ohio Dominican University MBA Program is designed to provide students a comprehensive business education while stressing ethical leadership and strategic agility .
Students who enroll ODU's 4 + 1 MBA will spend four academic years in undergraduate-level study. During their senior year, students will take 500-level (graduate) courses that will meet their undergraduate elective and graduate program requirements (when a B or better is achieved). At the end of the fourth year, an undergraduate degree is conferred. Students are then enrolled in 600-level graduate MBA courses and may complete their degree within one year.
Ohio Dominican's 4 + 1 MBA program is not for everyone. Students will find it to be a fast-paced and challenging course of study, best suited for those who have been high-performers in high school and who are committed to demanding study.
