Our mission is to develop and enhance students’ technical, analytical, problem-solving, research, ethical, technological, and communication skills required in today’s accounting profession.
The major objective of the accounting program is to provide students with the opportunity to develop an appropriate mindset and a value based reasoning system in keeping with the Dominican tradition, necessary for entry-level accounting positions or for entry into graduate studies and life-long learning.
This program offers learners the opportunity to become well acquainted with the tools that are used in business every day in decision making. Students will work with the financials of well know corporations and will be required to act and think as though they are employed by these organizations. Every course requires a hands-on approach to learning.
