Before joining Ohio Dominican in the summer of 2005, Dr. Beach was Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs and Student Services at Ohio University . Prior to that, she served as Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Programs and Student Services; as instructor, assistant professor and associate professor of Education at Ohio University ; and as supervisor of Mathematics K-12 for the Wood County School System (WV).

Dr. Beach is the incoming president of the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics and is a member of the American Educational Research Association, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, the Ohio Mathematics Education Leadership Council, School Science and Mathematics Association and the Ohio Association of Teacher Educators.
