Nancy J. Beran earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree, her Master of Science degree and her Ph.D. from The Ohio State University; each degree was earned in the field of Sociology. Dr. Beran, who came to Ohio Dominican in 1975, has held several positions in her extensive career with ODU. She has served as Associate Professor of Sociology; Chair of the Division of Sociology and Social Work. She currently serves as Professor of Sociology and Chair of the Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences. In addition to her duties at Ohio Dominican, Dr. Beran has served on many professional associations, committees, seminars and workshops; conducted numerous research studies; and published countless works.
