Dr. Chang received a bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies from Yonsei University ( Seoul, Korea ); a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Ball State University ; and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Purdue University.

Prior to joining ODU, Dr. Chang worked as a Post Doctoral Researcher and Research Fellow at Ball State University , and as an assistant professor of Early Childhood Education.

She is a member of the International Society for Technology in Education, the Association for Childhood Education International, and the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
