Chad King received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Eastern Mennonite University; a master’s degree in Environmental Science and a Ph.D. in Environmental Science with a minor in Agriculture Education, both from the University of Arizona.

He recently taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Aquatic Plants and the Environment at the University of Arizona and was a Gifted and Talented Science Support Teacher for Desert Willow Elementary in Arizona . He assisted in the development of an integrated masters program at UA and created and maintained a regional website for US Fish and Wildlife Service.

Dr. King is a member of the World Aquaculture Society, the United States Chapter of the World Aquaculture Society, and the North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture.
