Anna Parkman received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Work from Cedar Crest College; an MBA from the University of Charleston; and a Ph.D. in Organization and Management from Capella University.

Prior to her new position as associate professor of Business, Dr. Parkman taught as an adjunct professor in the LEAD MBA program since 2004, and served as an adjunct professor for the online MBA program for American InterContinental University. She served as chair of the Jones Division of Business and chair of Graduate Programs at the University of Charleston. Dr. Parkman also was the executive director of the Entrepreneurship Center at the University of Charleston.

She is a member of numerous professional organizations including the Academy of Management , the Association for Assessment in Higher Education, and Sigma Beta Delta.
