| Biography: |
Rebecca Rowoth, Associate Professor of Biology, received her graduate training at the University of Missouri and the University of Dayton. At the University of Missouri she studied the molecular mechanism of oxygen toxicity in bacteria. At the University of Dayton her major field of research was the antimutagenic effect of polyamines in eukaryotic microorganisms. Between 1984 and 1986 Dr. Rowoth, completed a postdoctoral fellowship with Air Products and Chemicals. While at Air Products and Chemicals she studied phosphate utilization by sewage treatment microorganisms. Dr. Rowoth began her college teaching career in 1975 and has taught at Ohio Dominican University since 1986. She is actively involved in curriculum review for both the science majors and the science teaching liscensures offered by Ohio Dominican University.
