| Biography: |
Dr. Vickers is a full professor in the Division of English Language and Literature at ODU. Her fields of specialization are American literature, the novel, and psychological studies/psycholinguistics in literature. She has been on the faculty since 1977. She is the co-author of two books, No More Frogs, No More Princes and Men at Midlife. She has also written on-line texts for basic and advanced writing skills, business English, and technical writing. Other publications include articles and presentations on assessment, rhetoric and composition, and several American authors (James, Woolson, Hawthorne, Irving).
