Life Science/Physics Education - Grades 7-12
Ohio Dominican University’s Life Science/Physics Education program is a professional teaching major centered on Biology and Physics. Students in this program complete a rigorous curriculum that emphasizes not only scientific knowledge but also critical thinking and laboratory skills. Upon completion, teachers holding this dual field degree will be competent and effective teachers in Biology and Physics for grades 7-12.
Eight licensures in the Natural Sciences are available at Ohio Dominican University . They all include a common core of science courses and an emphasis on pedagogical techniques. The eight licensures are designed so a student may move from one teaching major to another with ease. This allows the student to nuance his or her program as maturity within the field develops.
