Graduates of ODU's Integrated Mathematics Education program are prepared to teach mathematics in grades 7 though 12 in the state of Ohio.

Ohio Dominican’s Mathematics majors, including those pursing the Integrated Mathematics Education degree or licensure, develop the skills and conceptual understanding necessary to analyze quantitative situations, solve nontrivial problems, and communicate mathematical ideas.

In this way, the mathematics major provides students with a solid foundation for future learning and for the sharing of their discoveries with others.

The flexibility of a liberal arts degree ensures that students in this major will have strong communication skills.

When combined with the solid mathematics background, students who choose this major may find employment opportunities in a wide range of areas including:
  • banking
  • education
  • government
  • health care
  • insurance
  • marketing
  • nonprofit organizations
