Being enrolled in ODU’s Project Jumpstart Dual Enrollment Program gives you access to online and on-campus resources such as:
- The Academic Resource Center is dedicated to helping all student succeed and excel in their studies. The ARC addresses the needs of all ODU students. To facilitate student success, the ARC provides a variety of study skill workshops and help sheets as well as free tutoring in math, writing and a variety of subject area courses. - The Career Development Center provides individual career guidance and job/internship placement advising and resources. This includes self-assessment, career exploration and planning, graduate school information, resume and cover letter critique, interview skill development, advising on job search strategies and employment resources. The Career Development Center is available to students on an invididual basis. Project Jumpstart students may specifically wish to take advantage of the occupational information resources. - The ODU Library is a valuable resource offering an online catalog with a collection of over 100,000 books, videos and DVDs, access to over 165 online and full-text research databases, and nearly 600 continuing subscriptions to print journals and magazines. The library staff strives to help all patrons search effectively so they can find the relevant information, evaluate what they have found and use that information effectively. - The ODU student ID card is available for Project Jumpstart students. You can stop by the Business Office (Erskine Hall 133) and have your photo taken for your official college ID. Student ID cards provide full college student priviledges for the library, sporting events, and other student activities.
