From Your Alumni Office
Despite the recent snows, Spring
is here with natural changes and new life, including many here
on our campus.
Our
first ever Breakfast with the Easter Bunny/Egg Hunt was a huge
success. The kids were just adorable and our proud alumni
parents had fun. Click
here to see pictures.
It’s not to
late to join the more than 30 alumni as well as current students
already registered for our first Schmooze or Lose
networking event here on campus this coming Monday, April 16.
Please call or e-mail us immediately if you would like to attend.
(And don’t forget our April 22 Memorial Mass and Brunch
in honor of Monsignor Fick.)
In other
news, Ohio Dominican University is about to introduce its
new
Online Master of Education! Like
our other graduate programs, the Online M.Ed. is designed to be
convenient and flexible to meet the needs of teachers who must
balance the demands of work and family, while still finding time
to meet the continuing education hours required for state
teaching licensure. More information will be coming your way!
By now many
of you have heard of Dr. Jack Calareso’s departure from Ohio
Dominican to become the new president of Anna Maria College,
close to his East Coast hometown, his children, and
grandchildren. Jack’s dynamic leadership is a legacy that will
benefit our campus forever.
Drew Klein,
Vice President of Student Affairs, has announced
that as of June 2, he will also leave ODU to become the Dean of
Students and Retention at Green Mountain College in Vermont.
Please join
in wishing Jack and Rose Calareso, as well as Drew Klein,
continued blessings and success in their new lives.
It is our
pleasure to have your lives as alumni touch ours and others in
the ODU family, whether it’s through sharing your losses, celebrating
your milestones, or planning activities to bring you together.
Please don’t ever hesitate to let us know how we can better
serve you.
Blessings to
you and yours,
Sue & Tammy
