From Your Alumni Office
Since our last issue of the ODU Link, Dr. Brian Nedwek has been announced as the 14th president of Ohio Dominican University. Dr. Nedwek and his wife, Judy, will officially join the ODU family on July 1. We look forward to welcoming each of them and will keep you apprised of opportunities for you to meet and extend your good wishes.

It was great to see old and meet new friends at several of our recent alumni activities. Our Spring Schmooze or Lose, featuring our first-ever Speed Networking activity was a huge success (pictured left), and our annual Fick Brunch and Memorial Mass again attracted a number of other alumni and friends (pictured below).

Don’t forget to SAVE THE DATES for our SPRING SEND-OFF family picnics: Columbus - July 22 on campus and Cleveland - July 24 at Cuyahoga National Park. Watch for details, but please save the date to have your family join your ODU family!

Finally, we wish to extend a very special thanks to our alumna, Peg Sheridan ’58, who once again this year came to support our softball team’s Spring Break games in Pensacola (pictured below). The women athletes and their coaches appreciate your loyal support, Peg, and so do all of us!

Please don’t forget to check the website often as we continue to add events throughout the Spring and Summer.

We look forward to seeing you at one or more of those and hope you will drop us a note or give us a call if we can be of assistance to you.

Leave a Legacy
Some individuals find that they can make a larger gift to Ohio Dominican upon their death than they could have during their lifetime. If you have ever considered a bequest to ODU through your Will and need assistance with the verbiage or logistics, please contact David VanWassenhove at 614-251-4643 or vanwassd@ohiodominican.edu.
