Webpage Update
Our Alumni webpages have started to receive their makeover. Look for more news, services, and fun! If you have any suggestions, please e-mail them to us:  alumni@ohiodominican.edu

From Your Alumni Office
The deep freeze, snow and ice keep us eager for the promise of Spring. However, cold weather didn’t prevent many alumni/ae in and around Akron from attending our reception with the Office of Admission to greet and encourage prospective students to select Ohio Dominican as their final choice. The Office of Admission welcomes the personal testimonies and interaction in many regions where enrollment initiatives are taking place. Please let us know if you would like to be involved in these activities.

Details appear below for our March 11 Celtic Tenors Concert in Cincinnati. Time is of the essence in securing the appropriate size bus and making the lunch reservations. PLEASE CONTACT US BY FEBRUARY 22, 2007 IF YOU WISH TO ATTEND.

Similarly, many young (and young at-heart) alums have made reservations for our first ODU Breakfast with the Bunny/Easter Egg Hunt on March 24. It’s almost full, so please be sure to make your reservations quickly. If neither of those activities suit you, perhaps you will join us for the Fick Literary Brunch on April 22, when we remember Monsignor Fick, and other members of the Ohio Dominican family at Mass, and enjoy the presentation by author Russell Poole (National Road) at the brunch following Mass. We enjoy seeing you on campus and hope you will join friends at one or more of these events.

June Reunion and October Reunions (at Homecoming) will be here before you know it!  If you graduated in a year ending in a “2” or a “7” and would like to e-mail or call friends about YOUR class (or cohort!) party, let us know.

In the meantime, we hope you enjoy talking with one of our great students during the Spring Phonathon to benefit the Annual Fund. Every dollar adds up, and we are grateful for your support!

Please drop us a note to let us know what is new in your life, or how we can better serve you.  Until then, may the upcoming Lenten season be a time of blessings and growth.
