Reunion Weekend 2006
Alumnae from the classes of 1934, 1935, 1936, 1937, 1942, 1946, 1951, 1953, 1956, 1961, 1966 and 1976 gathered on the Ohio Dominican campus to celebrate Reunion Weekend June 23 - 25. Twenty-three alumnae also enjoyed staying in Sansbury Hall and reliving fun times in the special building they once called home, while others stayed at nearby hotels. Individual classes held informal parties on Friday night, and enjoyed Saturday reunion activities that included tours of the campus and the Motherhouse, as well as the St. Mary’s Luncheon when the Class of  '56 was welcomed into the Golden Flame Society. Mass was celebrated in Christ the King Chapel, with special recognition of classmates who have entered eternal life. Alumnae enjoyed photo archives and reminiscing with friends, while others toured the Thurber House and Franklin Park Conservatory. 

The day concluded with a special dinner reception for St. Mary's alumnae hosted by President Jack and Rose Calareso at their home for the St. Mary's alumnae. Members of the Class of '76 gathered for their reunion dinner that same  evening. Nightcaps and conversation followed both events at various locations.

Alumni/ae from the Classes of 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996 and 2001 are asked to contact the Alumni Office NOW to help plan reunion activities for their classes during Homecoming Weekend October 6 - 8.

St. Mary's Alumnae from classes ending in 2's and 7's are also encouraged to contact the Alumni Office to begin planning for Reunion Weekend 2007.
 

Alumni Class Party
On the evening of Saturday, July 8, over 100 alumni and friends of Ohio Dominican gathered for an alumni class party at the 94th Aero Squadron in Columbus. Those in attendance represented class years 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984 and 1987 and traveled from all over the country including Indiana, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, and Georgia. Special thanks to Mark Isbell ’80 who initiated this gathering, spent countless hours contacting former classmates and helped to coordinate the event. A great time was had by all!

It's been a full and rewarding summer so far, as we've enjoyed meeting and working with so many wonderful alums at the Reunion and the "unofficial reunion" last weekend. We are busy working on activities and plans that will benefit you, our alumni. We are in the process of upgrading our webpages and will soon introduce a semi-annual alumni newsletter, all in an effort to better serve you. Homecoming is one major focus, but that's not all. Members of the National Alumni Council of Advocates (NACA) are also hard at work on your behalf.  We need to hear from you and hope you will drop us an e-mail, give us a call, or stop in to let us know how we can better serve you. Until then, enjoy these warm summer days and breezy nights.
