From Your Alumni Office
Alumnae from the classes of 1932 through 1967 reunited on campus
last weekend, to relive golden times and create new memories.
Intermittent rain didn’t dampen their spirit or
fun. Congratulations and thank you, to these wonderful women!
You can view SOME of the additional photos on our website by
clicking
here. Next year’s reunion, particularly for the St.
Mary alumnae from the classes of 1933 through 1963, will be June
20 – 22.
We hope you will call your friends and invite them to join you
and us, at our Annual Alumni Happy Hour on July 19. This
year’s gathering will take place at Barley’s Brewing Company,
Ale House No.1, on High Street, sandwiched between the
Convention Center and the North Market. Admission is only $8 and
includes a great array of appetizers and chance to win some cool
door prizes, not to mention the fun time. Call us or
e-mail your rsvp.
Greater
Cleveland area alumni
are invited to our Cleveland Indians Picnic and Game on
Saturday, August 11. The cost is $30 per person and
includes a barbecue buffet, and admission to the game against
the NY Yankees. Tickets are limited and available on a
first-come basis. Because we want as many alumni to attend as
possible, we are limiting 2 tickets per alum. We hope you will
join us for this special time at the Jake!
Congratulations
to MBA student in our LEAD program, Jason Johnson,
this year’s recipient of the Edgar Ingram Junior Innovation
Award, established by John Kelley ’05, and his
brother-in-law, Jamie Richardson ’05 in honor of their
family patriarch’s entrepreneurial spirit and dedication.
Jason’s business plan advanced him in the Kiwanis competition.
Pictured from the left are Interim President, Bishop James A.
Griffin; Vice President of University Resources, Ron Seiffert;
Adjunct Professor, Gene Johnson; Jamie Richardson; Jason

Finally, join us in welcoming the
newest residents of Guzman House, members of our ODU Advancement
Team! Pictured from the left: Jen Leone ’07, assistant
director of annual giving; Eileen Kirsch, grants
coordinator; Marcy Day, assistant to the director of
advancement services.
We hope you have a happy and safe
summer. The door is always open and you are always welcome to
stop in any time. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
Sue & Tammy
