From Your Alumni Office
The unique excitement of Fall’s new beginnings is evident on campus and throughout our ODU family. A dedicated group of students made history this past Saturday as they entered Panther Stadium as proud members of the first-ever Ohio Dominican Marching Band. What a fine addition to our years of tradition! The magnificent history of this wonderful institution was brought to life by President Jack Calareso in his opening Convocation Address several weeks ago. Read his affirming and challenging message on this link:

http://www.ohiodominican.edu/about/president/2006/Convocation.asp

Sign up TODAY to join your classmates, friends, and current and former faculty for YOUR great Homecoming Celebration! The rides and games for kids of all ages, along with a wide range of activities Friday and Saturday (over and above the morning baseball game, afternoon football - and of course, the marching band!) promise a fun and enjoyable time. Call a friend or two and make plans to meet here. And as an added bonus, you might want to go to our website at www.ohiodominican.edu and click on Alumni & Friends | News & Events to see who has already registered to attend! Names are updated every Thursday – check often and make sure yours is included!

After eight rewarding months in this position, my greatest joy is meeting and talking with you, our alums. I look forward to doing just that on October 6 and 7. Please don’t hesitate to call beforehand if you have any questions or ideas you’d like to share. Go Panthers!

Best regards,

Sue
