Corrine Hall Hughes
Corrine Hall Hughes earned her degree in history and elementary education from St. Mary of the Springs College (now Ohio Dominican University) in 1961. She served as an elementary school teacher for many years with the Columbus Public and Catholic Schools, later becoming Alumni Director at Ohio Dominican College. Corrine continues to stay busy at Ohio Dominican having served on both the Revels and Msgr. Fisk Scholarship Committees. She served on the Ohio Dominican Service Learning Council and as a tutor for the Dominican Learning Center. She has also been involved in Corpus Christi Parish activities including parish council and liturgy committee. She was named the "1995 Corpus Christi Parish Catholic Woman of the Year" and was a nominee for "Diocesan Catholic Woman of the Year." She is a member of Kappa Gamma Pi, the Catholic Honorary Society. Corrine serves on several community committees including the Arts Committee for the Martin DePorres Center and the Health Care Committee for B.R.E.A.D. Corrine is also a community performer in dance. Corrine has left her mark on the university through her service and dedication. She and her husband, Thomas, had seven children. Five graduated from Ohio Dominican.
