Dennis Smith

Dennis Smith graduated in 1969 from Ohio Dominican with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. Denny was a leader of the first men's basketball team, providing competitive spirit and enthusiasm for the new program. He has remained close to the university over the years serving on many committees and advisory boards. He is a past member and president of the university's alumni/ae board. Denny served his country in the military and retired as a Colonel in the United States Army Reserves. His past employers include Ameritech and Ohio Bell Telephone Company. He is currently a global sales director for SBC Global Markets and is a certified sales instructor. He has twin daughters and lives in Columbus with his wife, Carol.
