Double Dominicans
MaryEllen Swartz Luebbers '97 and James F. Luebbers '97 first met in Pre-Calculus
class and in the gym during their freshman year. It wasn't, however, until their
sophomore year that they actually started dating. Friends Tom Cooley '98 and Rose
Lee introduced them.
The couple says that Spring Break in Panama City with the baseball team, and days
at Panther Valley are just a few of their fondest memories with Dominican friends.
Mary Ellen and James married on July 14, 2001.
