The 2007 ODU Faculty & Staff Annual Fund Campaign
One of the reasons Ohio Dominican University shines is because of the great support and involvement of our faculty and staff. Participating in our Faculty/Staff campaign for our Annual Fund is just one example of the outstanding commitment to our students and University.
In the 2006-07 fiscal year, a record-breaking 98% of our faculty and staff contributed over $56,000 to our Annual Fund. To achieve this year's goal of $63,000, we need YOU!
Our Annual Fund provides critical operating funds for the University. Without it, tuition costs would increase, making ODU unaffordable and unavailable to the majority of our students.
You may give to our Annual Fund using the enclosed form or give online. You can make a one-time donation or join the many of us who use the convenient payroll deduction plan - this is an easy way to give more without feeling pinched!
Please join us in providing this much needed financial support for our students and our Ohio Dominican University.

Did you know?
- Tuition covers 70% of the per student cost of their education
- 90% of students received financial aid to attend ODU in 2006-2007
- Since 2004, ODU has added 5 new buildings and plans to add two more by 2008
- Other donors and foundations look at faculty and staff participation in the annual fund before contributing large amounts themselves. (Think about what 100% participation can do for our students!)

Why I’m Grateful
As a phonathon caller and a beneficiary of the funds that are raised, I understand first hand what a huge impact the annual fund has on our campus community. The phonathon is run FOR STUDENTS, BY STUDENTS, and that just goes to show how passionate the students of ODU are about this great cause! From exciting events on campus to greatly appreciated tuition assistance, the annual fund has impacted my life directly. I know that without the support and contributions made by faculty and staff members, my first year at Ohio Dominican wouldn’t have been as great as it was. Even though I’m a sophomore, I can’t wait to be an ODU Alumni so I can give back to the university like so many faculty, staff, and alumni do now!

The Ohio Dominican University Annual Fund is a special opportunity for faculty, staff and administrators to join together in support of our University programs and activities. Today more than ever, funded resources are necessary to enhance every aspect of campus life and to increase the positive impact of the University locally, nationally and globally. I believe that my giving will contribute to enhancing opportunities for deserving, talented and motivated students to participate in a vibrant, caring campus committed to the Dominican values of truth, compassion, justice, partnership and community.
