Master Plan 2011 Concepts
A lot of changes are in store for the University. However, in spite of those changes, we are dedicated to preserving our identity and values. Our strategic goals are focused on being a pre-eminent Dominican and Catholic institution offering the highest quality educational experience for our students. We welcome individual students, meeting their unique needs in a personal way. And we're committed to being global, ready to take the Ohio Dominican educational experience wherever quality education is valued.
Part of the overall vision is to transform our campus, understanding that in the next 10 years, we will double our enrollment, add new academic programs, athletic programs, co-curricular activities and services. The Ohio Dominican of the future will have a physical campus that supports the needs of our students and provides the living-learning environment conducive to our values and mission. To that end, we have developed a Master Plan for the campus, which is detailed on these web pages. The Master Plan provides both the learning space (classrooms, library, study, faculty offices) and the living space (residence halls, campus center, recreational areas) to meet the needs of our growing student population.
Why are we doing this? Because we must. We have a responsibility to our current and future students. Quality education requires quality personnel, programs and facilities.
Campus development is a means to an end. It is the means to sustaining the educational experience that has been our history and will be our future.
We believe in our mission, our values, the quality of our education, and the quality of our graduates. With your help and support, we will make our future even brighter than our past.
