ONE OF MY MOST EMBARRASING MOMENTS
Everyone has an embarrassing moment in their life at one point or another. I have had several, and what I went through this week just added to the list. Most people have embarrassing moments by falling in front of the hottest boy in the school or burping really loud in front of their boyfriend or developing a pimple the day of the dance, first date or pictures. Well, I am going to slowly walk you through my embarrassing moment. There a couple of things that I like to do and things that I am good at and two of them are: dancing and singing. I have been doing both of these activities since I was a child. I have always been in the choir at school and at church and I was on the dance team when I was younger, then I stopped and started again when I was 13. I really enjoy dancing and singing. I believe God blessed me with the ability to sing and dance and I do not take that for granted. Please keep all that in mind while I share with you one of my recent embarrassing moment. Well, this Friday I attended a church service with one of my good friends. On Friday I got off of work at 7:30 and service just so happen to start at 7:30. That night I had to get a bite to eat because I did not eat Lunch so by the time I got off I was starving. I came back to campus got some FREE food and rushed to service. When I finally got there, I was off course late so I tried to sneak in. I went to the back row and sat down, and acted as if I was invisible. The Pastor was talking about how grateful she is to have people in her life that are blessed with the gift of singing and she enjoys the fact that these people are walking in their anointing. Now, I meet this lady before but we are not that close, so I knew she was not talking about me. So she goes on and talks a little more and more and then (DUN DUN DUN) SHE CALLS MY NAME… My eyes got so big, and I think I could have stop breathing for about 20 seconds of my life. OH MY GOODNESS!!! I WAS SO NERVEOUS!!! Now, even though I am a good singer, I do not sing solos, I am normally just a back ground singer, and I have no problems with that. So, I go the front of the church and I sing a song but I am singing really soft and my mouth was not close to the mike because I was so nervous, I think I did a horrible job and I really do not like to be put on front street… So, when I say I was embarrassed, I was BEYOND EMBARRASED!!! My friend said I did not do a bad job but I think he was just being a sweet heart and trying to make me feel better but it did not work… Well, thanks for listening to my embarrasing moment and I hope you laughed or smiled a little bit... Have a good one...
