The best new year's ever
*THE BEST NEW YEAR’S EVER*
I had the best New Year’s ever. This was my first New Year’s that I did not have to be in at a certain time. I actually felt as if I was an adult. This was also the first New Year’s that I did not attend my home church. I am now in this group called AWNIGH Ministries (A Whole Newness in God’s Hands). AWNIGH was originated by one of my best friends, Cordale Glass. He got a vision from God and God told him to count the letter and then count the syllables. So that is what he did, once he did that he discovered that there are 24 letter and 7 syllables. Meaning, A Whole Newness in God’s Hands 24 7… That is so powerful and means so much to me. So ever since August we have been preparing for January 30th and 31st. We were so excited, at least I know I was, but I think because I was so excited I got myself a little nervous.
I have to start from Sunday, January 30, 2007. AWNIGH ministered for the first time. We ministered at my friend India’s church, The Word Church if God in Christ. Sunday night was a miniature concert; there were a number of individuals there ready to praise God. There were some singing groups and dance teams… We had a so much fun praising God. It is one thing when you praise God by yourself and it is another thing when you praise God with a number of people all on one accord. It was so awesome, but very formal because it was in the main sanctuary. We had such a wonderful time… Then New Year’s Eve we all went to our own separate church. I went to Judah Christian Community with a couple of friends. For the past couple of months I have been attending their church services. I think God is trying to slowly take me away for my home church, New Covenant Believers’ Church, because I have been there for a 18 years of my life. That is all I have ever known. And since my dad is opening up his own church on February 24, 2008 God is trying to help me so it will not be so hard when we finally leave. I am very excited about that… But anyway I have totally gotten off, and I will discuss more in my next blog. But, on New Year’s Eve I was at Judah Christian Community and I brought the New Years in with them. Service was absolutely amazing. Once service was over we went back to The Word Church of God in Christ and had to minter there for their young peoples after party. Very informal, it was truly an after party. We had a good time. Once we left the church, which was at 2:30am, a lot of us went over my friend India’s house and chilled, watched some movies and ate. We all had bonding time and then at around 8:00am or so I finally went to sleep. I had so much fun…
