Things I am looking forward to!!
The Wave

The Wave fights against the coral reef
As two bears would fight for food,
Then it winks at me and leaps up high
Like a ghost that moves up a mountain side
As it draws nearer I start to think
Of a large, yet gentle, horse
That gallops and runs toward me
Like a toddler that sees its mother.
And then I come back from my fantasy
And see the fuming wave;
It pounces upon the moonlit shore
And sweeps over my bare feet.
When I first start writing these blogs I would love to go on the internet and find poems that would uplift me and would ultimately uplift you too but here recently I have been forgetting to do so. Now the poem that I chose today was not to uplift you but it was the poem of the day that I thought was a good poem. As I was reading this poem I felt like I was in Florida, warm weather on the beach with my bathing suit on. Not quite fully in the water just allowing the water to touch the tip of my toes. Oh how I love Florida. Hey maybe I should write a poem on the feeling that I have about Florida and maybe you could enjoy the feeling with me.
I did not intend this blog to be about Florida and how much I love it but I defiantly wanted to share with everyone what I am looking forward to in these next couple of months. I have been invited to attend this conference called Jubilee, now I know absolutely nothing about it but that it is a conference for young adults on fire for God and just by hearing that I jumped, well not actually, but tried to jump on the opportunity. This conference is in a couple of weeks, February 15-17. I know that my friends and I are going to have a blast and I am anticipating God to move in all of our lives. The weekend following is the opening of my Daddy’s church. I have already shared how excited I am about this in my last blog so I will not repeat myself but that level of anticipation, eagerness, and excitement is there. The last thing that I am beyond excited about is my 21st BIRTHDAY!!! My 21st Birthday is on May 3 and as of right now I am planning my birthday bash. I want to have an All White Party. So prayerfully it all works out. I want to make sure all the planning and all the kinks are worked out by April 1… Well, I hope you enjoy and you feel my excitement in this blog and I will talk to you very soon… Have a good one…
