Hey, you. This week is going to be nuts. I just finished my last Hemingway paper, handed in my philosophy final, a six page paper on Marxist aesthetics, and am now off to study for my art history final. Tommorrow I have to finish writing a ten page political science paper on how the European Union plans to fight terrorism. And all this must be done as my roomates and I say goodbye to friends, visit favorite hangout spots for the last time, thoroughly clean our apartment so we get our deposit back, and pack up all our things for a ten hour flight over the Atlantic. You'd think I'd be consumed with feelings about leaving Rome and returning home and Christmas break--nope! To tell you the truth, I'm bogged down with finals until Wednesday night, so all those thoughts are going to have to wait. Right now I just hope I can get through the next few days with my sanity intact. Oh, and that there isn't a transportation strike on Friday, as the rumor claims, because that would make the airport a madhouse on Saturday (the day I leave). Well, sorry for the short blog, but I've gotta get down to the library and do some studying. In next week's blog I should hopefully be able to give you a much more poised and comprehensive recap of my trip in Italy. But at the moment, Rome (according to me) is mass hysteria.
