Super Sunday, Super Tuesday

So yesterday, Super Bowl Sunday, was excellent simply because the Patriots were knocked off their pedestal. Not only did they not go undefeated but they are now the only team in NFL history to go 18-1 in a single season and not win the big game. There are a host of reasons why I dislike them: they patented the phrase "19-0" before winning their final game, had a book in the works called "19-0," were proven cheaters this year in "Spygate" where Bill Belichick stole signals from the New York Jets, and, most of all, they were smug and condescending. I think the ultimate revolation of the New England organization's character was last night when Bill Belichick walked into the locker before the last snap. No class. Ok, I'm done ranting on the Super Bowl. Now I feel better.

Moving on to a different, though possibly even less civilized (j/k), "Super" day, tommorrow's Super Tuesday should be interesting. Right now Obama and Clinton are in a statistical dead heat. Regardless of who wins for delegates, this race will probably go all the way to the Deomcratic convention. In the end they may even run on the same ticket. Republican-wise, I'd say McCain has it pretty much wrapped up. Even though the conservative base isn't quite in favor of him, they realize that he is their best chance to win the White House. Stay tuned, because it will be getting very interesting tommorrow night.

Okay, kids, time to go to Poly Sci class. Maybe that's why I'm in the election mood. Cya!
