Classes next semester & What to do about summer?
Well, today is the first day to schedule classes for next semester. It looks like I need to take ENG463 & POL498 for my majors. Also, I need to take one more philosophy and a mathematics. I think I'm going to take PHL224 (philosophy of Religion) and MTH121 (math for liberal arts). Even with those four classes, though, I still might not graduate on time. To be safe, I could take another ENG class, but we'll see.
I know, however, that I have to take classes this summer or I definitely won't graduate on time. And I think I'm going to stay up here in Columbus for the first time. I usually go home, but it looks like it's going to be easier for me to take classes if I find a summer job here. So where should I get a job? Any suggestions? I'm thinking maybe somthing in or around Pataskala since that's where I'll be living with my sister.
In other news, I got my 300$ refund deposit back from my apartment in Rome :) Always nice! I picked up a new book with it--Knockemstiff by Donald Ray Pollock. Really good so far. It's a collection of short stories about a seedy town in Southern Ohio. Pollock's style is sort of a three way combination of Ernest Hemingway, Raymond Carver and Chuck Palahniuk.
Also, midterms went pretty well. I've Two A's, one B+ and one B. I should be able to bring the two B's up, though.
Until next time, Cya!
