Too Cool for School
My name is Chad, you know like the country in Africa? Yeah look it up it's there! I am part of the outstanding, amazing, incredible Sophomore class here at Ohio Dominican. Not only a part, I guess you could say I am the head of it. See, last school year I was elected to be the Sophomore Class President. Big task? Ha! I don't know. It's only the second week of school so I haven't been hit with all the hard stuff.....yet. No seriously, it's gonna be great! I am totally looking forward to doing some fun stuff for our class. All I have to say is school--wide--food--fight! Now tell me that wouldn't be freakin amazing! Come on! You know throwing mashed potatoes, marshmallows, and cake at people is the start of a great afternoon. The word is still out on whether or not they are going to let me do it but I am gonna try my hardest, even if I have to do the puppy dog face in the dean's office!
So, what about me? Well, I am from right here in Columbus. That means if I ever need momma's home cookin I just go right down the street and get all the comfort food I can handle! It's wonderful! I have finally decided after changing a hundred times and banging my head against the wall, that I am majoring in Philosophy and Economics. I want to go to law school so I think these majors will definitely help me on that application. But you know if all else fails I can always be a professional golfer or something.......pft ahahaha! Yeah right I am no Tiger Woods. I do love playing some golf though and there is a great course right down the street from here!
But let me tell you, it is great to be back at school now! I didn't see my friends a whole lot over the summer because they all just had to live two stinkin hours away didn't they? But it's cool. I'm not upset. No seriously, now we are all reunited and the good times have once again begun to roll. Ha if you only knew! Lunch time, yeah it's a freakin laugh-a-palooza every day! Plus I feel great just learning! Hey what better place to do that than at Ohio Dominican!? Yeah I know I’m a bit of a nerd but I’m ok with that. I have some really great professors and classes too so it is easy for me to love coming here!
Well, that’s it for this week. I am going to go eat some chocolate chip cookies now (thank you Jeanette) and enjoy the rest of this wonderful day! Later home slices!
