Golf+DeltaSig+Econ= The Latest Development

What up!?!?!?!

So I am thinking that I really need to get onto the golf course while the weather is still decent enough for it to be enjoyable. Don’t get me wrong, I love playing a good nine holes but you got to be screwed up to think I am playing in the rain or the cold. Heck no! I do sunshine and seventy degrees no exceptions. I’m not hard core enough for a little winter wonderland fun on the course. On another note, I watched Tiger play today. You know I really used to abhor watching golf on T.V. but now that I am completely addicted to playing; I can appreciate the skill those guys and girls have. I mean, not only do you have to play well so you don’t feel like cracking your club in half from frustration, but you have to play well for the millions watching on T.V. and the hundreds staring you down in the crowd. I don’t know how they do it! I don’t even like playing when there is anyone else within a ten mile radius of my terribly insufficient golf swing! That’s alright though one of these days I am actually going to par a few holes. Haha I have a long way to go I think.

Anyway, let me tell you about the latest development in Chad’s excellent college adventure. I went and officially changed my second major to Economics, adding it to my current Philosophy major. Don’t ask me why I chose to mix those two cuz I’m still trying to figure that one out. I can’t tell you how excited I get though over supply and demand let me tell you. It just gets the juices flowing, you know what I mean?! I’m kidding of course but I do like it a lot. So, now that I’m majoring in something that’s business related, I am in the process of joining the very distinguished Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity here. Yeah I am thinking that it’s gonna rock to be a “brother”. DeltaSig is great though because on top of helping the community with things like Habitat for Humanity and working with kids at Children’s Hospital (which, for some reason I feel very passionate about doing), they do a lot of business networking. What greater way to get your foot in the business world’s door than by doing it while you’re still in college? Think about it, if you work it right you’ll have employers begging you to come work for them after you graduate. Wouldn’t it be nice to have Krispy Kreme or somewhere like that offering you a job right out of college with an amazing discount on yummy doughnuts? Ha could you imagine my skinny self working there for a couple of years? I’d be a regular old rolly polly by the time I moved on. Anyway, DeltaSig does some fun stuff too. It’s not ALL corporate gray and professionalism. We do normal college kid stuff too like hitting up some Blue Jackets games or tailgating at the football games (which by the way have been amazing due to the Panthers opening up a can on the other teams every time). So yeah it’s gonna be good stuff.

Alright home slices I need my sleep I’m hittin the sack. Peace out!
