Hola!

Let me say that I am totally excited for the greatness that is about to transpire tomorrow. That's right I am flying out of this cold nasty weather to the wonderful tropical paradise known as COSTA RICA!!!!!! Basking in the sun, backpacking in the jungle, and maybe some whitewater rafting are just a few of the wonderful activities I will be indulging in for an entire week down there. Anyone want to come with?

Now I know what you are thinking, how could he leave to go to Costa Rica over Thanksgiving? Well, Thanksgiving has never been a really big deal for my family. It's always just been my mother and I. This year she is planning a trip down to Tennessee to see a family friend so it would just be me anyway if I were to stay. I was thinking about going to LA initially but my friend who lives there said she couldn't host me right now. So I was like eh you know what let me just do something crazy and use these skymiles to go somewhere else I have never been. So Costa Rica was the next best thing I guess. :)

Now for some reason all of my friends seem to think that I am: 1) never returning home due to my kidnapping or 2) coming back with only one kidney. But let me assure all who are concerned, I'll be okay......I hope :) No seriously I'll be alright I speak Spanish and I know where the US embassay is so I should be good.

Alright I have yet to pack so I am going to go do that before I miss my plan in the morning due to lack of undies. :)
