Ok I just heard a song
from Grey’s Anatomy on the radio and I got all excited because…Grey’s
Anatomy starts this week!!! That would be my favorite show currently—it
got moved from Sunday to Thursday nights…I’m not sure how I feel about
that yet. But I’m going to study tables for soccer tonight instead of
Thursday to make sure I am home on time! I’m probably going to watch it
with one my friends who is also obsessed. I don’t get obsessive with
shows too often but I really like this one. Another one of my all time
favorites was Ed (the bowling alley lawyer not the talking horse
although the talking horse wasn’t that bad either). Freshman year I
watched re-runs of it everyday at noon on TBS with my friend Thomas in
the dorms. I haven’t found any re-runs of it on lately and that is one
show I would actually buy if it ever came out on DVD. So if anyone
finds Ed re-runs or episodes on DVD contact me ASAP
Anyways~I
had a crazy weekend…I went all over town trying to make a copy of my
keys. I went to 5 places! And I still need one key. If you have ever
gone to copy a key you know they match up your key with one that is the
same size and then cut it. It’s rather simple, quick, inexpensive, and
painless…or so I thought until this weekend. Apparently I have the one
key that is different than most keys in Columbus. All of the people at
the stores kept giving me names of other places to go and I’d get all
hopeful and then find out they didn’t have my key size either. One guy
actually gave me a key that was just a little longer than mine for free
and said sometimes they work…it didn’t. Someone else suggested I go to
an actual key shop and I guess I need to find one instead of going in
hardware stores—do key shops even exist anymore? Maybe I need to tackle
the yellow pages.
I also saw Britt! She is one of my friends
from home that goes to school out-of-state so I hardly get to see her.
That is one benefit to living close to home—whenever my friends that
went away to school come home I’m always close by. I helped my friend
Kara move-in to her new place too! This will be her first year as a
commuter. The big difference going from being a resident to a commuter
is you have to get your own furniture: desk, bed, tv stand, not to
mention the actual tv and food…I could go on and on. Well Kara decided
to make her own bed–how cool is that? Our friend Ally helped. They are
both engineers and good with building things and math AND they like
that stuff! They made it in one night. I’m amazed. It has drawers
underneath it and everything. I’m looking forward to the corn hole set
we are going to build soon! But enough with that, I’ll tell you if I
find a key shop—now I am off to read Freud for Psychology!
